Avoiding scams

Before agreeing

Compare prices and check descriptions and photos. Unusually low prices and unexplained urgency deserve extra scrutiny.

Inspect and test items before paying where possible. For property and vehicles, verify ownership and documents with the relevant authorities before paying or signing.

Payment and meetings

Avoid sending deposits to unknown people before verification. A transfer screenshot or payment message alone is not proof; verify receipt directly with your financial provider.

Meet in an appropriate public place and tell someone you trust. Keep relevant listing details, agreements and receipts.

Protect your account

Never share passwords or verification codes. Avoid suspicious payment or sign-in links sent by another party.

The platform currently does not collect transaction payments or provide payment protection. Be cautious of anyone claiming to collect money on its behalf.

Stop dealing with suspected scammers and report the listing. Contact the relevant authorities for threats or crimes; a platform report is not a substitute.
